Yasho Madhava
“Aum namah bhagwate vasudevaya namah Aum”
The preserver of the creation, Lord Vishnu resides in our temple in his most ethereal
form of Shri Shri Yasho Madhava. This holy form of Lord Vishnu is originally worshipped in Bangladesh’s Dhamrai, Jessore. Yogiraj and Yogmata consecrated the idol of Shri Shri Yasho Madhava after a divine behest with 1 crore tulsi leaves on the sacred day of Maghi Purnima in the year 1978.
Lord Yasho Madhava is flanked by Goddess Lakshmi, Goddess Saraswati, Kanai and Balai. The Lord is worshipped daily as per Vaishnava customs. Devotees get the chance to touch his lotus feet once a year, on the revered day of Rathayatra. Every year Rathayatra is celebrated with pompous road show from Tarashankari Peeth to Madhavbari in Hatibagan, opposite Star Theatre.
Maghipurnima, Rathyatra and Janmashtami are celebrated occasions of Lord Yasho Madhava.
The daily aarti is held at 7:30 PM.
